Embark on a 2.5-hour free walking tour of the capital of Russia and discover its top sights, including the Red Square, Saint Basil’s Cathedral, the impregnable Kremlin complex, among many others!

Red Square
Saint Basil's Cathedral

Meet your guide at 12pm in front of the striking Christ the Saviour Cathedral and set off on a free walking tour of the historic center of Moscow.

Follow your guide and admire the Monument to Peter the Great and then see the Russian State Library, which was founded in 1862 as the national library of Russia and accommodates more than 43 million items.

Head to the Alexander Garden, one of the first urban parks in Moscow. Walk into the legendary Red Square and discover the fascinating Saint Basil’s Cathedral. According to a legend, Ivan the Terrible blinded the architect of this masterpiece, so that he would never reproduce the beautiful domes on any other building.

Follow your guide to the west of the square, where you’ll see the imposing Moscow Kremlin, which currently serves as the official residence of the President of Russia. Then, admire Lenin’s Mausoleum. Other important historic figures are buried at the feet of the Kremlin such as, Stalin and Yuri Gagarin, a Soviet cosmonaut. Next, head to the State Department Store (GUM), one of Moscow’s largest shopping malls.

The free tour will come to an end at the Red Square at around 2:30pm.
